Refinite Water has supplied a 3.6 MGD water treatment plant for the removal of over 25 units of organic-based color, iron, hardness, and hydrogen sulfide from a coastal ground water supply.
Skid-Mounted Package Filters
Refinite Water has completed start-up of a new package iron removal filter system for a township. Refinite worked closely with the plant's operator and the consulting engineers to pilot test several processes for iron removal. In the end, the Owner chose the Greensand Plus media approach and Refinite supplied a complete skid-mounted package assembly. The filter vessels and skid are protected by a unique process known as thermal-sprayed aluminum metallizing. The aluminum coating over the steel substrate insures that rust will never be present. The filters are currently producing public drinking water having iron and manganese well below the US EPA recommended maximum contaminant levels.
